The in 1994 born artist completed her diploma in Communication and Media Design in 2013. In 2016 and 2017, she had the opportunity to learn under renowned Austrian artist Eva Meloun. Since late 2018, Marie-Sophie has dedicated herself to being a visual artist, primarily focusing on painting. 

Her artistic repertoire encompasses both figurative and abstract styles, allowing her to explore a wide range of visual expressions. She employs a diverse range of media, including oil and acrylic paints, charcoal, pastels, and gouache. Her works have been exhibited and sold nationally and internationally. 

Marie-Sophie Krainz‘s artistic process is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to technique, despite switching between impulse and control. Her work reflects a unique blend of technical skill, artistic vision, and a deep understanding of aesthetics. 

By integrating a disability affecting her right arm and hand into her painting process, she implements an aim of expression within the context of her impairment, representing an approach of nihilistic cynicism in her works.
